His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri Anisha Rosnah binti Adam graced the Pre-Launch Ceremony of Visit Brunei Year 2027. It took place at Jerudong Park Garden, 20th June night.

Upon arrival, His Royal Highness and Yang Amat Mulia were greeted by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies and Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office for Civil Service Governance; Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, as Co-Chairs of the Visit Brunei Year 2027 Steering Committee; and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd. Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs. The event began with a cultural dance performance.

Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies and Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry in his welcoming remarks highlighted the significance of Visit Brunei Year 2027 as a whole-of-nation initiative aimed at strengthening the tourism sector, supporting economic diversification and showcasing the countrys unique identity to the world.

His Royal Highness then officiated the Visit Brunei Year 2027 logo and mascots. The event continued with the official Visit Brunei Year 2027 theme song and drone performance.

His Royal Highness and Yang Amat Mulia then visited the Visit Brunei Year 2027 Calendar of Events Showcase. The event marked the beginning of a series of domestic and international promotional campaign initiatives leading up to 2027. Brunei Darussalam will continue its marketing efforts at Travel Meet Asia 2026 in Jakarta, from 23rd to 24th of June, as the Official Destination Partner.
